And that "hot" place is my old home Miami Beach. On any given day in the winter you may see me warming up at Miami Beach's "Monaco Oceanfront Resort" where my beloved Dad, Bill Hilt Sr. has poured his life-blood nearly every day of the last 30+ years.
Situated in-between a "Trump Plaza" and several other 1000+unit high-rises, the "Monaco" is one of the last of a dying breed of precious jewels on Miami's Beach where one can still go to sleep to the soothing lullaby of our Mother Ocean, and walk out the back door, take 4 steps, and be on a beautiful white beach. Next time you're going to Miami, call him at 305-932-2100,Tell him his son told you he'd give you an oceanfront room in his paradise for less money than a room at a Holiday Inn in downtown Milwaukee. .He'll do so joyfully.
